FRONLWYD - THE WELSH LONGHOUSE

Completely refurbished for 2015 the cottage sleeps 15 plus cots. The kitchen is very spacious, perfect for large groups to cook and just hang out in, we also have two living rooms and a dining room that seats 16.

Outside boasts a large seating area. wood-fired hot tub, pizza oven and 4 acres of woodland, meadow and babbling streams to explore with numerous walks for all abilities from the door. There is a kids play area complete with lookout tower, swings, slide and willow tunnel. The cinema barn is now also complete and guests are welcome to bring their own DVDs, Blu Ray, 4K and 3D films with them to watch on the 14-foot screen with 7.2 surround sound. Bring your own active 3D glasses for 3D films.

At dusk, pull up a chair outside and watch the bats that weave in and out of the trees, and then stargaze to your heart's content, the night sky is breathtaking.

Close to the beaches at Aberdyfi and 20 minutes from Snowdonia Ideal for families or adult groups, there is plenty of space for outdoor games and summer BBQs. For the real adventurers, why not take off into the woods with our recommended bushcraft man 'RedDragonBushcraft' and go all Ray Mears...

Things to note:-

Guest access - 4 Acres of our own meadow and woodland, walking from the door and being on the edge of both the Snowdonia National Park and the Cambrian Mountains, plenty to do and see.

Interaction with guests - We live at the very far end of the property and are on hand if you need any help or assistance. We are 'World Host' accredited.

Supermarkets - are around 30 minutes away, so we recommend you stopping off for a shop on the way down. Tesco and Asda deliver here, just arrange for when your party has arrived.

What's provided/What's not provided - The beds have all the linen provided. We also provide dishwasher tablets, sponges, fairy liquid and tea towels. Guests need to bring their own bath towels and toilet roll.

Doggies - We are dawg friendly but there is a charge of £15 per dog that comes to stay and we ask all guests to clean up their best friends poo. There is a small fenced garden area that dogs can be let off the lead in. However we ask that they are kept under close control when outside of this area - our chickens are in a lightweight coup in the main meadow and we are surrounded by sheep fields that at certain times of the year are brimming with small lambs - if your dog cannot resist these temptations then this is probably not the property for you.

Cinema barn - is available subject to owner availability, as we need to put up the projector, which is not stored in the barn. This is a 5-minute job and if we are around we are more than happy to do this. If you wish to play 3D movies please bring your own 'active' glasses.

Hot Tub - Is wood-fired, you need to fill this on arrival.  The notes provide full info, it's a big hit, uses only fresh water no chlorine.

Property costs £290 per night plus a £100 cleaning fee.
