We’re Adam and Vicky, and welcome to Fronlwyd.

 

What started as a run-down 17th-century Welsh longhouse has become something really special to us. We’ve spent years restoring it carefully, keeping its character while making it a comfortable, welcoming space for others to enjoy.

 

We created Fronlwyd with people in mind,  somewhere families and friends can come together, switch off, and enjoy being in the countryside. Whether that’s long evenings around the table, time in the hot tub, or just slowing down for a few days.

 

Alongside the Longhouse, we now also offer our luxury dome, a more private, cosy stay for couples or quieter escapes.

 

Hosting has always been something we’ve loved. It actually goes back to when we met up travelling in New Zealand, where we spent time managing a backpackers. We knew then it was something we wanted to do properly one day.

 

We feel incredibly lucky to live here raising our family, on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains with Snowdonia within reach. It’s a place we genuinely love, and we enjoy sharing it with others.

 

When you book direct with us, you’re dealing with us personally, not a booking platform and we’ll always do our best to make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
