'We're Adam and Vicky, together we've lovingly restored this 17th Century Welsh longhouse and made it the perfect spot for large groups to relax and take in the beautiful surrounding areas. We have two free range children, chickens, cats and a dog.
We love being hosts, it was our dream job when we first 'got together' in New Zealand backpacking over 10 years ago, an opportunity to meet people and share family commitments without being stuck nose to bumper in rush hour traffic and enjoy the outdoor life. We tried our hands at managing a backpackers in Wanaka NZ between snowboarding on Treble Cone and from then on it was a case of when we would do it. We fell in love with New Zealand but neither of us could leave the UK so we did the next best thing and set up home in a part of Wales that reminds us both of our antipodean travels.
Vicky grew up in Wales and when we found this property that was very run down we took the plunge steeped in Welsh Heritage we threw ourselves head long into the restoration but with larger groups in mind. We have outdoor pizza oven, a hot tub and are in the process of turning our barn into an outdoor cinema full of hay bales.
We're on the edge of the Cambrian and Snowdonian mountain ranges, perfect spot for taking in both areas. What are you waiting for? Come and visit!
